Vanilla Pear Butter

Yield: 1 Quart

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 qt. Pacific Northwest Canned Pear Slices, drained
  • 1 pt. Reserved pear syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
  • METHOD

    Combine pears and reserved syrup in saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Mash mixture with potato masher. Serve warm over pancakes, waffles, crepes or French toast.
